This is Henry. I think it is Henry V? I name all my favorite weapons Henry, in the military the only book I had which I smuggled into bootcamp (no easy feat) was Henry Miller’s Black Spring which kept me sane during my short and stupid career as a soldier.
The thing I did best was shoot my M-16 so I named it Henry, and after that, it only seemed fitting to name my other weapons Henry II, III, IV, and so on….

The revolver is dead

I am a huge proponent of revolvers over semi-auto pistols for most applications, and will declaim, loudly, to anyone who will listen that the chief reason semi-autos have replaced revolvers in law enforcement arsenals is the greater magazine capacity of pistols, full stop. There simply is not any other significant advantage to pistols, and indeed there are several disadvantages.
Your typical XBox ninja, on the other hand, will insist that revolvers are "ancient technology" and a dead end approach (these are usually the same people who hold up the wonky Desert Eagle as the pinnacle of handgun tech). It’s a shame, I guess, that the folks at Ruger haven’t got the memo. They continue to develop new revolver lines and were showing off the completely new LCR revolver at SHOT.
Of course, if I was Ruger I’d certainly want to emphasize their pretty revolvers over their ugly pistols.
